Hai seli ani,
I'm afraid the exhaust system for neo cps lotus racing is too excessive for my current minor mod, the lotus racing exhaust paired with tweaked ECU, street cam and much more to the track setup which redline all the time to reach the sweet point..while my car use for daily drive and the low end power need to balance with the top end power.. :)

Hi Mr Cartoon,
I'm using Gen2 Cps with the custom 4-2-1 header, bullet, overall 2 inch piping n straightflow muffler (Wai Heng sunway) pair with K&N drop-in filter. I found that this setup sacrifice much on the lower end torque n abit annoying when in town drive. The engine power delivery also not smooth with sudden power up when passing 3k rpm. I'm planning to upgrade my exhaust system with better performance along with new AFR. If i wanna change to superstreet header, is necessary to replace all the old system or u can recommend to me better bullet n muffler. Can u also roughly quote the price for the upgrade u recommend. TQ

Hi bro, nice to meet you, I'm Kevin ;)

The picture show above is the car only using the Superstreet exhaust header, the rest remain stock (expect exhaust tip) ;)

The Superstreet exhaust is design for street use. It is not suitable for you since you are using it for track.

Exhaust system for track use must base on engine design to be build, there will be no any muffler on cat-back.

To build a track use exhaust system, 3 to 4 different type of exhaust header will stand by, 8O waiting to install on track car and test on dyno machince one by one, once the best result is found, the fine tune process will begin, and so the new track use exhaust system is born. 8) Track use exhaust system will cost RM2,500to RM5,500 (base on material and engine design)

Normally, upgrading cat-back exhaust (from center to rear muffler) woun't increase engine power much (about 2%), it use to be act like a supporting unit for exhaust header and a silencer as well to reduce exhaust sound.

Why there are alot exhaust system "cap ayam" on the market, no doubt it is because of customer need. Most of the people judge the performance of exhaust system simply by how the sound is. and others beleive that they have found the formula (piping size or "unique" muffler) to build a "perfect" exhaust system, and so they go for "custom make"

But think again, without any advance equipment and machine, how to ensure a performance of exhaust system? Yup, people always "guess"

i currently using Satria Neo 1.6 lite m/t right now and as usually the famous Campro torque dip around 2k - 3k rpm destroy my track day..if i change the current exhaust system with the product you mention above, can it eliminate or at lease reduce the torque dip?..according to picture, it yes but i thinking about to change the whole system from header to muffler. if you're OK to answer me, what is the best setup?..for daily and track?..i understand the 4-2-1 is good enough but how about the center bullet?..mid box?..pipe dimension?..muffler?..what made of?..so many "cap ayam" out there..huhu~ :?:

Totally agreed! Just tested both NEO CPS and nonCPS - totally diff character! Now, must get these two units to have your exhaust header installed - then perfect!

No worries, not asking for sponsorship - just hoping a well-to-do exh tuner does its work and being acknowledged accordingly - why? simply bcause u deserved it.

And no, I have no share whatsoever in KEVIN GARAGE. A free iced milo will do no harm though
